Pritzker got it all wrong. After spending millions of dollars on TV ads praising himself for his response to COVID-19, Illinois is now reaching more cases a day than it has throughout this pandemic.
While COVID is ravaging through families and communities, Illinosians are left waiting in long lines in the cold to get tested.
What’s worse, is that instead of acknowledging his failure to contain the virus, he is doubling down and supporting Mayor Lightfoot’s and Cook County President Preckwinkle’s vaccine mandates to enter restaurants, gyms, and other recreational venues in an attempt to make it appear they have a handle on the crisis. Meanwhile, small business owners are left to bear the brunt of yet another costly government mandate.
Pritzker says he follows the “science” while he continues to ignore the people and businesses in Illinois.
